Yeastar - Adding a Grandstream devices Via Yeastar GDMS portal


Adding a Grandstream Device to a Yeastar instance via GDMS 

Log in to Yeastar


  1. If you simply use the provisioning link in the Yeastar in the Grandstream phone , it will work , but as the factory reset is not password protected in the Grandstream phone , any factory reset (accidental or otherwise ) will remove the provisioning link and the phone will stop working- below is a simple way around this 


Create a Extension 


Got Auto provisioning/Phones  and add

Add the details of the phone and assign to the extension you just created

Log in to GDMS

https://www.gdms.cloud


if you don’t have an account set one up


Select Voip System (top left handside of screen)


Create a site

Now goto Site configuration

Maintenance 

Tick Config server Path

In Yeastar


Auto provisioning /Phones

Pick any phone it doesn’t matter as the provisioning link is the same 


Copy the provisioning link

And paste into GDMS 

Config server path that you have just ticked above


YOU MUST REMOVE THE https:// FROM THE URL

So https://cpdsupport.au.ycmcloud.com:443/api/autoprovision/yywZmF79d8Qy6Fgc


Must be entered as 

cpdsupport.au.ycmcloud.com:443/api/autoprovision/yywZmF79d8Qy6Fgc

And save 


Goto Device management /VoIP device 


Add a device and select the site ( the MAC and S/N numbers on sticker on bottom of phone)

Now factory reset the phone 

Go to system and scroll till you find Factory reset
