Provisioning Grandstream devices on Yeastar
Yearstar setup
From the Yeastar instance.
Goto Auto provisioning>Phones>Add
Enter details
- Select Grandstream as Vendor
- Select Handset Model
- Select template
- Assign Extension
- Copy the Provisioning link URL
- Click Save
- Repeat for additional handsets, provisioning link is the same for all
Grandstream Gaps Access
Browse to Grandstream GAPS - https://gaps.grandstream.com
Login with your user name and password, if you do not have an account contact helpdesk@commsplus.com.au and request one.
Create profile on GAPS
Create a new profile for your Yeastar instance
Give profile a name
Select HTTPS as Config upgrade
Paste the URL as copied from Yeastar provisioning ( less the https://, as the config path.
Click OK
Assign Devices
Browse to Device Management> Allowed Provisioned Devices. This list is automaticually updated with devices you have purchased from Commsplus. Check that your devices are in the list. If not contact support team -helpdesk@commsplus.com.au.
Browse to Device Manager>provision new device. Enter all the MAC addresses associated to your yeastar instances, select created profile and click submit
Connect handsets.
Phones will by default contact GAPS and get redirect script.
Handsets will then contact yeastar instance and download config file.
