NEC-Untagged Calls to Common mailbox

Calls can enter the InMail system as either:


§Tagged calls    ( Call gets bounced to InMail via a call forward from an extension )

§Untagged calls ( Call enters the VM from  a Non extension e.g. from IRG 1, or VM box doesn’t exist )

 

Tagged calls enter the Inmail and are processed by the relevant mail box


Untagged calls enter the Inmail they are then processed via the following:


  In this example we will change from the default “routing Mail box to a personal Mail Box

47-10-01    Trunk to Answer table ( what trunk did the call com in from ) Default Table 1

47-11-01   CHECK – Bypass Answer Schedule Override

47-11-02  SET to Station Mailbox

47-11-03  SET to 66

47-02-01  ( mailbox 66 ) SET mailbox number to 202    ( as convention I use 202 for Night Mailbox )
