Dial options to dial out of Voicemail 

NOTE:

Customer requirements:

Call to be answered by Voicemail , however client wants the option for the caller to dial out to a mobile, or leave a message.


Programming:


Create 2 Virtual extensions:                                                      PRG 11-04 , extensions 202 & 210

Call forward 202 to the Voicemail Pilot ( 3999 )                        PRG 24-09

Call forward 210 to mobile number, include the leading 0        PRG 24-09

Call forwards can be changed by the client by using the call forward remote Service code:

Speaker, 790, 1, 210, 0, Mobile number, Speaker

Terminate trunk calls to Virtual Extension 202

Go to the voice mailbox 202 & allow “Dialing Option”, then specify the “Next Call Routing Mailbox”


It is important when enabling “Dial Action Tables” to secure the system so ONLY the advertised digit can be dialed , all other options must be set to Hangup or Undefined .

In my example I have set a destination of ”Unscreened Transfer to 210” if “1” has been received during the playing of the greeting in Mail Box 202.
