Abstract:
Customer requires inbound calls to go through Auto attendant dial options
VRS
Service limitations:
System is listening for DTMF tone for the full duration of the greeting + during the silence after the greeting. Silence timer ( Default 25-07-01 )
Dial options can only dial valid extension numbers, this includes Physical and Virtual.
Time outs can only go to one ring group, irrespective of what greeting is being played, IRG 0 ( hang up ) is valid . ( this is resolved in SV9100 CP20 PRG 25-18 )
Ring back tone can only be played to the caller after dialling an option, or time out has occurred. ( No MoH )
Programming:
Calls can be directed to Auto Attendant in one of 2 ways:
Specify the AA greeting with :
OR;
Notice no target , it skips directly to 501 ( VRS 01 )
Record your greeting:
Dial 616 , 7 , 001 from the first extension
Or:
Upload greeting using UA login
Directing calls to extension
In the following example , dial option:
1 will wait for you to dial 2 more digits & go direct to the extension
2 will terminate direct to extension 102
3 will terminate direct to extension 103
4 will loop back to the VRS 001 greeting, it is good practice to loop all un used dial options.
Multiple Extensions on a dial option we must use VE’s & those VE’s then appear on handsets:
PRG 11-04 Create some VE’s
PRG 20-09-07 Ensure VE’s allow a second call:
PRG 15-07 Program VE’s on unused Keys ( the keys don’t have to physically exist )
PRG 15-09 Now they need to be ring assigned , ( web pro only shows one key per phone per mode at a time )
PRG 15-11 , If delay ring is required you now need to program the “Ringing” key as a “delay ringing” key
Note . You cannot send a call from VRS to a IRG entirely - this makes ringing SIP extensions problematical as VE cannot ring on the SIP/Ananlogue extension
