Abstract:
Customer requires inbound calls to go through Auto attendant dial options with “dialled department name” to be displayed on the screen on an incoming handset.
To achieve this we need to route calls from VRS dial option to “Loopback trunks”
WARNING: This will impact on the system port capacity you have on your system. ( 1 loopback = 2 ports ) You will need a as many Loopback circuits as you have trunks.
In my example I have 3 trunks , with 3 dial options
Set Loop back to the number of lines you have using WEBPRO
This give me Trunks 5,6&7 linked to extension ports 11,12&13
( on a default system if make an intercom call to 111 , trunk 5 will ring )
We need to now pass the loopback trunks through the Direct Indial tables so we can get names to be displayed on the incoming dial option.
Create 3 department groups, which will be our destinations on the dial options from the Auto Attendant.
11-07 – set pilot numbers, do not use department group 1, as all ports are in department group 1
11-02 – set the Loopback extension numbers ( these will only be referenced as channels in the department group )
Enter these 3 Loopback extensions in all 3 department groups as “Secondary extensions”
Set Loopback trunks into Trunk group 20
Set all Loop back trunks to DID ( trunks 5, 6 & 7 in my example )
Prg 22-09 set trunk group 20 to 4 digit mapping
Prg 22-13 set trunk group 20 to translation table 10
Prg 22-10 Set area 10 to use DID tables to 801 trough 900
Now we can program the inbound call flow when the department pilots are called ( Name & destination )
3011 will display AA 1 & ring IRG 1
3012 will display AA 2 & ring IRG 1
3013 will display AA 3 & ring IRG 1
Now you can point the dial options to the pilots
