Applying a license involves a few steps
Get you HWKC from your NEC CPU (if existing skip this step)
Create the new Customer (if existing skip this step)
Create the new Customer Location (if existing skip this step)
Select and attach the licenses
Activate the licenses and download license file
It is best practice to obtain the HWKC from the web browser as there is less likely to be a typo if you “Copy & Paste” the HWKC
THERE IS NO DATA VALIDATION ON ENTRY , LMS will accept “a” where is should be “A” , then it will fail when you try to apply to the CPU.

You MUST have a Version License applied to the CPU ( only one required ) , if not no other license can be applied.
On the LMS Server is called LS-SYS-Rx-LIC(44xxxxx)

Login to the License Server Portal, via the link on the email from step 2 or a previously saved favourite.

For any new customers, go into Customer Administration and setup your customer.
Please ensure you create a location for your customer. You will need your Hardware Key Code from Step 1 for this exercise.
For existing customers or once completed step 4, go into License Administration.
. Initially licenses will appear in the Available Purchase Order.
(Licenses can be attached but not yet registered [in case they need to be used elsewhere]
To attach a license Click on the ‘Select this order to view license part’ in the Available Purchase Order section.
Select all the Licenses for this customer and then click on the Add button.
Select the Customer and Location and then click Attach.
You are automatically taken to the ‘All Attached and Activated Licenses for Customer Location’.
Select the Parts to be attached and press ‘Activate’
Tick the ‘I agree to Accept terms of License Agreement’ and press ‘Proceed’.
Registering a license binds the software key code to the designated Hardware Key Code permanently
Click on the Download key to complete the licensing process.
Save the file.
Now you can go back to the web browser interface of the NEC & apply the .lic file where you found the CPU HWKC
