NEC-SL 2100 After reboot SIP trunks/ IP phones dont come back up - License error



NEC- After System Reboot /power cycle lines and extension do not come back up

- often you will receive a license error on screen of phones
- Sip Trunks still show as registered in DIM trace but you cannot seize a trunk for calling out & inbound requests are responded to with a “486 BUSY HERE”.



This is a known issue that has been resolved in version 5

a combination of 3 events happen all can occur , or some 
1. goto Tools check license keys if the appear as below(note no SIP trunk  or IP extension licenses) , you have lost your license keys and they need to be regenerated from the LMS and reloaded


2.the DSP card defaults its IP address , if it is showing 172.16.0.20 , the DSP card has defaulted its IP address , put back in the DSP card address



3.IP trunk availability changes back to none , change this back to SIP



when these are changed back you will have temporally resolved this issue


NOW UPGRADE THE SYSTEM TO V 5.2 , to stop this happeneing again
