NEC SL2100 SIP trace
SIP trace
A capture of all LAN traffic to / frome VoIP or ETHERNET interfaces can be captured on the SL2100, it will be downloaded as a .PCAP file ready to be opened in wireshark.
A capture must be initiated, and can’t be run retrospectively.
This feature captures all IP Ethernet packets to/from the IP address assigned in PRG 10-12-02 and or PRG 10-12-09
It excludes all Ethernet packets to/from the DSP – PRG 84-26-01 ( all RTP packets )
This means all of the following are captured:
DNS requests/responses
ARP requests/responses
SIP packets ( REGISTER , INVITES , BYES, OK, INFO etc ) for all devices; Trunks , MLT IP handsets, 3rd party devices etc
VM to Email requests/responses
PC Pro packets
WebPro packets
This is a Web interface feature ONLY, It has a limit of about 10 MB per capture
