Provision & Using Avaya J Series handsets
To provision Avaya J Series handsets to Yeastar PBX the following links will guide you through teh install of the custom file and configuring auto provisioning.

Handset Registration
Avaya J Series will ONLY login if the the Registration Name is set to the extensions. They do not support unique registration names
if you have added Avaya handsets and the screen display enter login, check the following to ensure the correct registration name is set.
For Avaya J Series Handsets to log in automatically you MUST set the extension number as the registration name. This is set via Extension and Trunk -> Extension -> Extension Information -> Registration Name
This can also be set via Bulk Edit if updating after all extensions added.
Avaya J series can be connected and used on Yeastar PBX.

- The default Avaya config template in the Yeastar is not good. See this article, and download our custom config and upload to your system
- The Auto provisioning in Yeastar doesn't not Auto provision the handsets, Yeastars instructions are to copy the provisioning link and paste in to each handset.

- Contact Directory on handset is support using Yeastar LDAP, article can be found here
- Day/Night key with status indication is possible using key set as BLF with star code (*99x) for Business hour. to change status, procedure is speaker or lift handset then push key.
- The reprovision feature in auto provisioning does not work, to reprovision a handset a reboot is required.
