Create 2 x extension groups and add required users in each group(we are going to assign these groups to our outbound policy)

Create an out bound route for the first site

Add the trunk you want to dial out on and then the extension group for that site

This now means the extension group you created with the users selected will now dial out on the trunk you selected in the outbound route

If you want to manually  allow the extension group(site 1) to dial out on the other trunk (site 2) you can only do this using codes ( you cannot create a button for this )

Create a 2nd out bound route

But change the Dial match pattern ( in this example I will use # as my pre dialing code)

Add the extension group and the other trunk

This is a top down dialing table , so

If I am part the extension group and I dial # then the phone number it will use dialing 1.(A4_test)

With my dialing rules it will strip the # and dial out on the other trunk

If I just dial a phone number like normal , there is no match in table 1 but the 2nd table X. matches so will use the other trunk

Now repeat the process for the second site

if you want to use Flexible buttons to achieve this

go to you trunk set up and copy the trunk name

now go to the user and flexible button , create a BLF key with the same Trunk name ( you have just copied this )

Apply the configuration to IP phone

  1. Go to Auto Provisioning > Phones, click reprovision  beside the desired phone.

The system prompts you whether to reprovision the phone.

In the pop-up window, click OK

you can now push the key labeled BNE_Line and dial out on those trunks ,
you can now push the key labeled MLB_Line and dial out on those trunks

the default route out you have made out still applies if no BLF key is pushed

BLF key LED

  • The BLF key shows the real-time status of the monitored trunk:
    • Green BLF LED: The trunk is being monitored, and the status is idle.
    • Red BLF LED: The trunk is busy.
    • BLF LED off: The BLF key configuration failed.
  • Press the BLF key to seize the trunk, you will get a dial tone, then dial the number that you want to call.
