Yeastar - Enabling TLS PBX and Extension

Enabling TLS PBX and Extension

To configure TLS on extensions we must set the PBX TLS enablement in conjunction with the extension. This will Register extensions using transport TLS on P-Series

Enable TLS PBX Settings

1. Within Yeastar Management Portal TLS on PBX can be set within the following: PBX Settings -> SIP Settings -> TLS Toggle TLS to on


Enable TLS Extension Settings

1. Enabling TLS on extensions can is enabled via Extension and Trunk -> Extension -> Advanced -> Transport and drop down and select TLS

For devices to obtain update: Reboot phone (If the phone has been provisioned by PBX Auto Provisioning feature) for physical device to update. For PC and Mobile clients close the application and re open

Bulk Edit TLS change on Extensions

You can also bulk edit the TLS update on extensions. This will assist in changing all extensions to TLS not requiring to adjust each individually.

1. Select all users and edit


2. Edit -> Advanced -> Tick VoIP settings and change transport to TLS,
