After receiving the 3CX license key, log into the 3CX management console and have the system setup following the Installing 3CX on AWS Lightsail - 3CX guide.
Once the system was up and running we logged into the system and stated to add the Trunk based on the Telnyx guide.
Log into the 3CX webclient with the System Owner that is created during the install. Inside the 3CX webclient click on the Cog-Wheel bottom left:
Once inside the Admin centre click on “Voice & Chat” and then choose “Add Trunk”
In the Pop-Up choose:
Country: AU
Provider: Generic VoIP Provider (Registration)
Confirm with OK
Fill in the details as per Below:
Name: Give your Trunk a name
Main Trunk Number: Enter the Mobile number of your Trunk in E164 Format
Authentication ID: Enter the Trunk Auth ID provided by Telnyx
Authentication Password: Enter the Auth PWD provided by Telnyx
Type of Authentication: Keep Register/Account based
Registrar/Server: enter sip.telnyx.com.au
Outbound Proxy: enter sip.telnyx.com.au
Once all details are filled in, click on “SMS”
Choose “Enable SMS”
Copy/enter the Values below:
Copy the Webhook URL and place it here
Copy the API Key from here and paste it into the API Key field
Paste this link into the Provider URL field: https://api.telnyx.com/v2/messages
Save
Head to Chat
Start sending/receiving SMS
Configure Programmable Messaging
Create a Profile
Details
Enter Profile Name
Allow Destinations
Select Australia
Inbound
Enter Webhook URL of 3cx
Outbound
No changes required
Senders
Assign Phone Number
Create a SIP Trunk -with credentials (example below)
Create an Outbound Voice Profile (example below)
