Using Scripts
Scripts are a quick fast way to add data to your phone system
As well as you may often HAVE to add scripts to your system to get things to work
To upload a scripts
!!!!!!!!!SAVE YOUR DATA BASE BEFORE YOU START !!!!!!
1. Connect to the customers SL2100 system via PCPro s/w.
2. Download Customer Database - if you don't do this you will upload a blank data base except for you script and wipe all the customer data ,hence the SAVE YOUR DATABASE just in case
3. When download has completed, Save Database.
!!!!!!!!!SAVE YOUR DATA BASE!!!!!!
4. Then within the tool bar, select “Tools” and then select “Scripts…”
Brouse to your script
Run it
It only takes a sec
Now upload back into the NEC
Your script is now uploaded You are done
If care to look at the script in note pad you will see what fields have been affected
All the other data you have on your system as you have downloaded it already and will stay as is and will not be affected
But it will overwrite any data that is in the above memory blocks and replace it with the script
