This engineering release note informs you about the release of SL2100 v5.21.03 main software release for the following enhancement.

  1. SIP Trunk carrier Telstra SIP Connect support for Caller ID pass thru for forwarded calls and diverted calls.
  2. SIP Trunk carrier Telstra Business SIP support for Caller ID pass thru for forwarded calls and diverted calls.
  3. SIP Trunk carrier Access 4 support for Caller ID pass thru for forwarded calls and diverted calls.


Note: The release of SL2100 Main software v5.21.03 supersedes the previous release of v5.21.01 or lower. Note 1: SL2100 PC Program v5.21.02 is the compatible version used with SL2100 Main Software v5.21.03.



Software Improvements


The following represents the SL2100 v5.21.03 software improvements for reported field issues. These issues were reported on the SL2100 v5.21.01 and the associated software patches have been applied to the SL2100 v5.21.03 software.


  1. [SV91-4560] Telstra SIP Trunk A Party to C Party Caller ID Pass Thru fails when Prg 10-02-03=0
  2. [SV91-4581] Incoming DID call to Bridge user fails when Prg 20-25-21 = Prg 21-13.
  3. [SV91-4593] SIP trunk carrier Access 4 Caller ID Pass thru fails for forwarded and diverted calls .
  4. [SV91-4592] TRF call from Sv9100 Ext Bridge User now doesn’t show Ext Name only CLI



SL2100 v5.21.03 main software includes these new system features:


New Features

  1. SL2100 software v5.21.01 operation for Telstra SIP Connect requires Diversion header Prg 84-39- 42=1 and Prg 84-39-05=2 ( Add P-Asserted Identity Prg 21-19) to support A Party to C Party CPN pass thru. But the A Party to C Party feature did not work when Prg 10-02-03=0. When Prg 10-02- 03=No Entry the Caller ID received for external calls is 9 digits instead of 10 and this was not acceptable to some extension users.


  1. SL2100 software v5.21.03 operation for Telstra SIP Connect requires Diversion header Prg 84-39- 42=1, Prg 84-39-05=2 ( Add P-Asserted Identity Prg 21-19) and Prg 84-39-58 =1 to support A Party to C Party CPN pass thru.


  1. The A Party to C Party feature will now work when Prg 10-02-03=0 if SIP Script Prg 84-39-58=1.
  1. Automatic transfer(trunk to IP trunk).
  2. Set PRG 14-01-24 = enabled
  3. Set PRG 21-19 = Set CPN of Extension
  4. Set PRG 99-03-68 via Handset Programming = 1 or Set to 0 and then use Prg 20-25-21= Prg 21- 13/19
  5. Set Prg 84-39-05 = 2 (Existing)
  6. Set Prg 84-39-42 = 1 (Existing)
  7. Set Prg 84-39-58 = 1 (New)

The A Party to C Party feature will now work when Prg 10-02-03=0 if SIP Script Prg 84-39-58=1.

Please note: To activate SIP Script Prg 84-39-58=1 you will need create a text file as : SET<84-39 (0,0,57) “1”. SIP script in text file data value is 1 lower than actual setting.



  1. SL2100 software v5.21.03 operation for Access 4 SIP Trunks requires Diversion header Prg 84- 39-42=2, Prg 84-39-05=6 to support Caller ID pass thru for forwarded and diverted calls. The following programing is required to enable the feature.
  1. Set Prg 14-01-24 enable for all Access 4 SIP trunk lines
  2. Set Prg 21-17 enter SIP service GDN for All Access 4 SIP trunk lines.
  3. Set Prg 21-19 required to be set if normal outgoing call from extension requires to send personal DID number.
  4. Prg 99-03-68 = 0 (Caller ID) ( Handset Programming only) and via Webpr/PcPro set Prg 20-25- 21=Caller ID.
  5. Set the following SIP Scripts: PRG 84-39-03 = 1

PRG 84-39-05 = 6 (New Script Function) PRG 84-39-06 = 1

PRG 84-39-08 = 1

PRG 84-39-09 = 1

PRG 84-39-10 = 1

PRG 84-39-12 = 1

PRG 84-39-14 = 1

PRG 84-39-23 = 1

PRG 84-39-28 = 1
