Avaya IPO Group Voicemail Access
Set the Group No Answer Time as required and the Group No Answer Destination as Voicemail
Set a Voicemail Code
To allow access to the Group voicemail box for retrieval of voicemails and editing the greeting.
Create a System Shortcode to allow access to the Group
The Code needs to be unique (in this example we have used # followed by the Group Extension Number)
The Feature will be Voicemail Collect
The Telephone Number needs to match the Group Extension Number (Name can also be used)
If you enter the? (question mark symbol) followed by the number (in this example 246) and select OK. It will add the quotation marks automatically.
To allow visual indication and retrieval of the Group voicemails
Under the Users, select Source Numbers
To allow the User to have an indication of new voicemails on the group via their red light at the top right of the handset light up.
Add in the Source Number H (followed by the Group Extension Number)
In this example H246
To retrieve the voicemails, the user can press the Message Envelope button and scroll down and select the Group.
To prevent the User needing to enter the Voicemail Code
Under the Users, select Source Numbers
Add in the Source Number V (followed by the Group Extension Number)
