Yeastar P Series Software edition Yeastar securing remote access and remote phones


Yeastar Self hosted P Series Software Edition  - securing remote access and remote phones 


Remote access to the yeastar must be enabled for you to be able to connect to the system if you hosting this service in the cloud


If this is restricted , you will only be able to connect to the system on the LAN . which may work for an on site server solution 


Remote phones 

  1. Go to System/Network/Yeastar FQDN
  2. Scroll down to SIP access enable 

 


  1. Add the users or extension groups you want to be remote users 


  1. Add your remote Site IP to further secure your system  






For Web Remote access 

1. Go to System/Network/Yeastar FQDN

2. Select Remote Access
3. Select Edit Web Access

As default the below will be set
This means that you cannot access your instance via the FQDN with the username: admin
To allow the admin to login via the FQDN, you need to delete the Administrator from the Select Account and Save
