Avaya IPOSE Renewing Identity Certificate
Avaya IPOSE Renew Identity Certificate
Login as Administrator
Select Settings, General
Scroll down and in Certificates, locate Identity Certificates
Select Download DER-encoded to download the existing certificate
Open the existing certificate
It will have details of the expiry date (example below 28/01/2023)
Select Details, Subject Alternative Name
Make a note of all entries in here
Select OK to close the certificate
In Identity Certificate
Enter a Subject Name (recommended to match the DNS entry in Subject Alternative Names)
In the Subject Alternative Names, add all entries that were in the original certificates Subject Alternative Names (remember to select the tick box next to each one to save it)
Select Generate and Apply
Select Yes to the warning box
Wait for the certificate to be regenerated
Once it has regenerated
Scroll down and in Certificates, locate Identity Certificates
Select Download DER-encoded to download the new certificate
Open the existing certificate
It will have details of the new expiry date (example below 17/03/2025)
Confirm the details are correct
Select OK to close the certificate
