Avaya IP Office Voicemail Pro – Route Calls to Specific Destination When Voicemail No Answer Timer is Reached

In Voicemail Pro Client

Select the System and Select the Default Start Points Leave

If you program a call flow in Default Start Points Leave, then it will be applied to all Users and Groups.

Which means when a call to a User or Group is not answered and reaches the Voicemail No Answer Time, instead of routing to that User or Groups voicemail it will instead follow the Default Start Points Leave call flow.

If for example you want to this to be setup for only some Users and Groups, you have two options.

  1. Create the call flow in the Default Start Point Leave. Then add and create an individual Leave call flow for each User or Group under the Specific Start Points (as this will take priority) to Leave a Voicemail in their mailbox as required.

  1. Do not create the call flow in the Default Start Point Leave. Instead add and create an individual Leave call flow for each User or Group under the Specific Start Points that you want to have this call flow.

In the below we want to transfer all callers to 201 if they reached any User or Group No Answer Time.

In the below we only want to transfer external callers to 201 if they reached any User or Group No Answer Time. We want internal callers to route to the User or Groups mailbox.

To do this we have used a Variable Routing Element.

The Leave Mail Element is default, using the Caller’s Mailbox (which means it will route the call to the voicemail box of the extension they called
